All we need is a little more music…

Have you ever thought about when you hear some really really good music how it makes you feel? It seems like nothing else matters, you close your eyes and image a time…

Find yourself some of that music tonight and feel the love! Treat yourself, cause no one else can do it better than you! My nephew did just that on facebook and sent me some love so I’m sending it to you. Never mind if you’ve never listened to this kind of music before– just have a listen, close your eyes and enjoy. What to do when I get older?

It’s a forgone conclusion that they say, the only for certain in life is death and taxes… We all have to retire someday! What do we do afterwards? Unfortunately the world will not stop revolving around us when we retire! That why it’s important to have a few hobbies that we’re passionate about.

I was once told by a former boss when retirement was upon him, we ignore our family and wives because of “important” business but when we retire, we want then go and boss the wife around at home because we have no more job and people to boss around… get a hobby that speaks to the heart and mind, develop it and cherish it!

On living healthy

     My interests are of course not only that I am blessed with health but those who read this blog are as well. In the course of teaching and lecturing on survival– when I come to sections covering survival rations, many students are not aware what “normal rations” are let alone survival. I find myself talking about average calories per day for an average person; how much water they should drink per day; and the percentage breakdown as far as carbohydrates, fats and proteins are concerned–even a little about how fat, salt and smoking work at clogging your arteries. Although it’s good and necessary information, it’s not nearly enough to what’s going on in the body and its real and potential effects.

     Without enough water, the circulatory system, electrolyte balance, liver, kidneys and other functions can not operate as efficiently as it is supposed to. Obviously over time, this could be a problem for our bodies and health. I am not interested per say in giving advise or lecturing at people, only facilitating a forum where sharing of information on the topic and make us all the better for it!
